Job Description
Overview We are seeking a Skilled Craftsman to help our residential and commercial customers complete a wide variety of repair, maintenance, and home improvement projects. In this role, you will enjoy the independence of working in the field and managing your own day, backed by a supportive office team that handles all scheduling, marketing, and billing for you. This position allows you to focus on your craft without the administrative burden of running a business. What Success Looks Like On a daily basis, success means arriving on time to scheduled appointments, diagnosing customer issues, and performing high-quality repairs across multiple trades. You will work directly at customer locations, dispatching straight from your home. Over time, success is measured by high customer satisfaction ratings, repeat business, and completing projects safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards. Key Responsibilities Complete small-to-medium home repairs and improvements, including carpentry, drywall patches, door installations, tiling, and light plumbing or electrical work. Evaluate customer requests, explain the scope of work, and provide accurate time and material estimates when needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment on every job site. Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to ensure they are satisfied with the completed work. Use our mobile app to document job progress, submit photos, and update project status. What You Need to Succeed (Must-Haves) Proven experience in home maintenance, remodeling, or general carpentry. A reliable truck, van, or SUV suitable for carrying tools and materials. Company vehicle may be available. Your own set of standard hand and power tools. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Nice-to-Haves Prior experience in specialized trades such as tiling, painting, or light electrical/plumbing. Experience using digital dispatching or scheduling apps.
