Lead Carpenter Pay Range:
$24.04 - $31.25 We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of carpentry experience and a proven background in residential construction and remodeling. This role requires a skilled professional who can lead projects, mentor team members, and maintain high-quality standards from start to finish.
Duties:
Lead and perform the construction, installation, and repair of wood structures and fixtures. Oversee framing, siding, roofing, masonry, remodeling, and finishing work. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. Ensure materials are measured, cut, and installed accurately. Manage and mentor apprentices and carpentry team members. Maintain safe, efficient, and organized job sites. Complete project documentation using mobile app tools for checklists and daily logs. Communicate effectively with project managers, vendors, and clients. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to Orvosh Builders' quality standards.
Experience & Skills:
5+ years of carpentry experience in residential construction and remodeling. Advanced knowledge of framing, siding, roofing, masonry, and finishing trades. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks independently. Commitment to maintaining job site safety and professionalism.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to climb extension ladders and work at heights. Ability to lift and handle tools and materials, often 50 lbs or more. Able to work indoors and outdoors throughout all seasons.
