Pavlika Inc. is a family-owned and operated, full-service new home builder and remodeling contractor serving Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio. We specialize in new home construction, remodeling projects, additions, and residential improvements. We are currently seeking an experienced carpenter or construction professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and is looking for stable, year-round employment with an established local company. Job Responsibilities Perform residential construction and remodeling work Complete framing, finish carpentry, demolition, installation, and general construction tasks Assist with new home construction, additions, and remodeling projects Read measurements, plans, and job specifications Work independently and as part of a construction team Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites Communicate professionally with coworkers, subcontractors, supervisors, and homeowners Properly use and maintain company-provided tools, equipment, and vehicles Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards Qualifications Minimum of five years of residential construction or remodeling experience required Additional experience and a broad range of construction knowledge are preferred Strong carpentry and general construction skills Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently with limited supervision Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions Professional attitude and strong work ethic Must provide a personal tool belt and basic hand tools Compensation and Benefits $25-$35 per hour, based on experience, knowledge, and skill level Guaranteed 40 hours of work per week Paid time off Health insurance Company vehicle All major tools and equipment provided Consistent, year-round work Opportunities for long-term growth Family-owned and operated work environment We are looking for an experienced professional who wants to build a long-term career with a company that values quality, integrity, dependability, and hard work.
