4 Point Support Services, LLC, a leading provider of battery electric vehicle repair, seeks a Level 4 Technologist specializing in Machine Building/Vehicle Pilot Build Engineering. Requires a U.S. High School Degree, or foreign equivalent, and 10 yrs. exp. in Fabrication and Automotive Electronic and Mechanics, or related, with fabrication and electrical diagnostics roles, focusing on machine building or vehicle pilot build engineering. Utilize extensive experience with fluid routing materials, including hose tubing, couplers, and connection fittings, to design and optimize fluid systems for vehicles and machinery. Select materials and components to ensure performance, reliability, and durability across various operating conditions. Design and integrate electrical components and harnesses into vehicle and machine assemblies using in-depth vehicle wiring systems knowledge. Collaborate with electrical engineers and technicians to ensure wiring systems meet compatibility, functionality, and safety standards. Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints to understand design requirements. Translate design concepts into detailed plans and instructions for manufacturing and assembly processes. Design and optimize cooling systems for vehicles, ensuring efficient thermal management for fuel cells, EV transmissions, EV batteries, and other critical components. Select appropriate cooling components and configurations based on vehicle specs and operating conditions. Apply EV-specific fabrication techniques and light machining processes to support prototype development and manufacturing activities. Work with fabrication teams to ensure the accurate and timely production of components and assemblies. #LI-DNI
