- Communication is very important, must also have a reliable means of transportation (a truck would be preferred)
- Perform trim carpentry and installation tasks, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
- Execute flooring installation, including measuring, cutting, and fitting materials.
- Assist in construction estimating to provide accurate project assessments.
- Carry out maintenance person tasks as needed, addressing various repair and maintenance issues.
- Collaborate with team members on construction site activities, maintaining clear communication.
- Handle heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials as required for different projects.
- The ability to paint walls, ceilings, trim (being able to use a sprayer to paint cabinets is also preferred). Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry or related fields is essential.
- Familiarity with trim carpentry techniques and flooring installation processes is highly desirable.
- Previous exposure to construction estimating practices will be beneficial.
- Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety regulations is required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with labor-intensive work.
- cabinet building skills such as custom closets, mudrooms, home offices would be preferred.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential traits for success in this role.
