The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to execute projects with precision and craftsmanship. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Duties Perform trim carpentry, including the installation of moldings, baseboards, and door frames. Execute cabinet installation with attention to detail and functionality. Conduct electrical and plumbing work as needed for remodeling projects. Engage in mold remediation tasks ensuring compliance with safety standards. Apply plastering techniques for finishing touches on projects. Carry out frame carpentry tasks including building frameworks for structures. Manage heavy lifting of materials and tools throughout the workday. Collaborate with other tradespeople on remodeling projects to ensure quality outcomes. Utilize power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Requirements Proven experience in carpentry with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in trim carpentry, cabinet installation, electrical, plumbing, mold remediation, plastering, frame carpentry, and remodeling techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job. Familiarity with various power tools and safety protocols associated with their use. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
