Job Overview We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team as a Deck Builder alongside our Foreman. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction and installation tasks, demonstrating proficiency in residential projects. As a Builder, you will play a crucial role in transforming blueprints into tangible structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties Execute carpentry tasks including framing, decking, and railing installation. Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate execution of designs. Maintain plumb and level standards throughout all construction phases. Restore existing structures as needed, ensuring compliance with building codes. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Experience Candidates should have a solid background in construction with experience in the following areas: Carpentry Framing A strong understanding of schematics and the ability to maintain plumb standards are essential. Previous experience in Deck Building is a plus. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. This is an Independent Contractor position. You will receive a 1099 instead of a W2. Benefits are not provided. Pay Negotiable (based on experience)
