Job Description

Jeff's Good Works LLC is looking for dependable, hardworking people who take pride in quality work, work safely, communicate well, and help keep projects moving. No weekends - PTO - Year Round Work The Carpenter performs residential construction and remodeling work for Jeff's Good Works. This position requires good carpentry skills, attention to detail, dependability, safe work practices, and the ability to complete assigned work efficiently and professionally. Main Responsibilities Perform framing, remodeling, and finish carpentry. Build and repair walls, floors, roofs, stairs, decks, porches, cabinets, and other structures. Install windows, doors, trim, hardware, flooring, and other finish materials. Measure, cut, and install materials accurately. Read and understand plans, drawings, measurements, and project instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and other construction equipment safely. Perform a variety of residential repair and remodeling tasks. Prepare jobsites and organize tools and materials. Load, unload, and move construction materials. Keep jobsites clean, safe, and organized. Follow instructions from the foreman, project lead, or owner. Communicate well with coworkers and customers. Maintain a high standard of workmanship. Requirements Residential or commercial carpentry experience. Ability to work independently on common carpentry tasks. Ability to read plans, measurements, and specifications. Knowledge of construction and jobsite safety. Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and ability to travel to jobsites. Dependable and on time. Able to lift at least 50 pounds and perform normal construction activities. Able to safely use ladders, tools, and construction equipment. Good communication skills.
