Carpenter / Mold Builder - Custom Concrete Living Stone Concrete Design Lake Elmo, MN Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:00 PM $25-$30/hour, depending on experience About the Position Living Stone Concrete Design is looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Carpenter / Mold Builder to join our team. We manufacture high-end custom architectural concrete products including sinks, vanities, countertops, fireplace surrounds, and other custom pieces. This position is focused specifically on building the molds and forms used to manufacture our products . If you have experience in cabinet making, finish carpentry, woodworking, millwork, or other precision fabrication , your skills should translate very well to this position. Previous concrete experience is not required . What You'll Do Build custom molds and forms from drawings and dimensions Cut and assemble melamine and other mold-building materials Accurately measure, cut, drill, and assemble components Read drawings, sketches, and specifications Build one-off and repeatable molds for custom concrete products Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality workmanship Must be able to regularly lift and carry 50-75 lbs and assist with team lifts of heavier concrete pieces Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day, including lifting, carrying, bending, standing, and moving materials Work with our production team to ensure molds are ready for scheduled pours & assist with casting Maintain an organized and clean work area What We're Looking For Carpentry, cabinet making, woodworking, millwork, or similar fabrication experience Strong measuring and dimensional skills Comfortable using table saws, miter saws, routers, drills, and standard woodworking tools Ability to read drawings and build accurately from dimensions Strong attention to detail Dependable and able to work independently Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing/shop environment
