Finish Carpenter/Skilled Remodeler! Ideally looking for someone with overall remodeling/renovation skills, interior and exterior. Looking for long-term; we have enough projects to keep people busy all year and beyond. No downturns, no cutting back hours.
WE HAVE THE WORK!
! It'd be great but not required if you knew basic plumbing and electrical (installing a faucet, changing out a light fixture, etc.). Skilled carpentry (building walls, framing, building custom shelving!) sheetrock, finish trim work, hanging doors, etc. Ideally want a person who can take a house from studs to completion. 40+ hours a week, although if you can only work less than that, we'll take it. No drama, no BS, no babysitting: just do good work and collect your check. Hourly rate is $ 30-$35+/hr depending on experience and you can pretty much work as much as you want. Have enough work to keep 2-4 people busy for 6-12+months. Your expertise will help transform spaces, restore structures, and deliver exceptional results that meet client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your extensive carpentry skills and construction knowledge to make a tangible impact in the community. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Measure, cut, assemble, and install various wood and construction materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Perform framing, drywall installation, stucco application, roofing, siding, and flooring to create durable and aesthetically pleasing structures. Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, moldings, trim, and hardware with precision and attention to detail. Conduct restoration work including plastering, rebar installation, mold remediation, and heavy lifting as required for renovation projects. Ensure safety protocols are followed by practicing power tool safety and maintaining a clean, organized job site. Collaborate with team members to interpret construction plans and ensure project timelines are met efficiently. Qualifications Proven experience in residential carpentry, remodeling, or related construction fields with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and heavy lifting equipment. Knowledge of wood construction materials including siding, drywall, flooring materials, and fixtures. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and practices for power tools and general site operations. Ability to perform tasks such as tile laying, cabinet installation, door hanging, caulking, roofing repairs, plastering, stucco application, and fixture installation. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or on scaffolding when necessary. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship in restoration industry projects or remodeling environments is preferred.
