Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Framing Carpenter/General Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, finishing, and remodeling projects. Your expertise will help bring construction plans to life, ensuring structures are built safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from metal building erection to restoration work, while honing your craftsmanship and contributing to our company's success. Duties Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing and carpentry tasks Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, floors, ceilings, and roofing using various hand tools and power tools Erect metal buildings and perform metal stud framing with precision and safety in mind Install rebar for concrete reinforcement and assist with concrete forming and finishing processes Perform masonry work including stucco application, siding installation, and plastering as needed Read measurements accurately using tape measures and other measuring tools; perform dimensional measurements for precise cuts and fits Engage in remodeling and restoration projects by installing trim carpentry, siding, or other finishing elements Requirements Proven experience in construction site environments with a focus on framing or general carpentry tasks Ability to interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels, levels; familiarity with power tools including drills and saws Knowledge of metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry techniques, welding skills preferred Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and site management practices Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces as required Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in interpreting technical drawings and schematics Join us in building exceptional structures while advancing your carpentry skills!
