Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Framing Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing the structural framework of buildings, ensuring precision and safety at every step. Your expertise in framing, metal building erection, concrete forming, and related carpentry skills will be essential to delivering high-quality projects on time. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, from residential remodels to large commercial developments, contributing directly to the creation of safe, durable structures. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing and structural components. Construct wall frames, floor systems, roof trusses, and other structural elements using hand tools and power tools with precision. Erect metal buildings and install metal stud framing efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Perform concrete forming and rebar installation to prepare foundations and structural supports for pouring concrete. Execute drywall installation, plastering, siding, stucco application, and trim carpentry to achieve finished surfaces that meet design specifications. Manage heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate equipment; measure dimensions accurately with tape measures and perform basic math calculations for precise cuts. Collaborate with construction management teams to interpret technical schematics, follow construction plans, and ensure project milestones are met effectively. Qualifications Proven experience in framing carpentry within commercial or residential construction environments. Strong knowledge of metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, welding, drywall installation, and siding work. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; capable of interpreting construction plans accurately. Proficient in the use of hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills and nail guns; and measuring devices like tape measures. Ability to perform dimensional measurements precisely and execute trim carpentry with attention to detail. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to framing projects. Construction site experience with a strong focus on safety protocols; familiarity with schematics and restoration techniques is a plus. Pay:
