As a General Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures, ensuring that our projects are completed to the highest standards. Responsibilities Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power tools. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects efficiently. Perform maintenance and repairs on existing structures as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project goals are met. Qualifications Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
