This role is pivotal in overseeing construction projects and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction and carpentry techniques, demonstrating leadership capabilities while managing a team of skilled tradespeople. Duties Lead and supervise construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and allocate resources effectively. Perform trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and cabinet installation tasks as needed, showcasing advanced craftsmanship. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and implement necessary changes on-site. Coordinate concrete forming, plastering, rebar installation, and other essential tasks with team members. Oversee the installation of fixtures, siding, roofing, and flooring while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Manage restoration projects including water damage restoration, mold remediation, and remodeling efforts. Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on techniques such as caulking, stucco application, metal stud framing, and electrical work. Conduct regular inspections of work performed by the team to ensure quality control. Experience Proven experience in the construction industry with a focus on carpentry and restoration.
