We are seeking a well-rounded tradesperson who can handle multiple phases of residential and light commercial remodeling and restoration work. This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate should be able to complete quality work with limited supervision and take pride in the finished product.
Primary Skills & Responsibilities:
Major wood framing and structural carpentry Interior wall and partition framing Drywall hanging, repairs, patching and finishing Interior and exterior painting Finish carpentry, including baseboard, casing, crown molding and other trim work Door and window installation Cabinet and millwork installation Flooring and other interior finishes Demolition, reconstruction, punch-list and repair work Reading plans, measurements and job scopes Maintaining a clean, safe and professional jobsiteWhat We're Looking For:
Several years of professional carpentry or remodeling experience Strong knowledge of both rough and finish carpentry Ability to work independently and problem-solve in the field Strong attention to detail, especially on finished work Dependable attendance, professional communication and a strong work ethic Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Own basic hand tools required Restoration and remodeling experience is required We are looking for someone who wants a long-term position with a growing general contracting company. Our projects vary, making this a strong fit for a carpenter who enjoys doing more than one type of work and is comfortable taking a project from framing through final finishes.
