Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately. Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently. Perform framing carpentry including metal stud framing and wood construction materials installation. Install doors, cabinets, fixtures, siding, trim, flooring, stucco, roofing components, and other building elements with precision. Conduct rebar installation, water damage restoration tasks, plastering, caulking, and mold remediation as needed. Assist with fabrication of custom components and work on restoration projects involving historic or damaged structures. Handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining adherence to power tool safety protocols on construction sites. Interpret construction plans and technical specifications to ensure project accuracy and compliance. Support site cleanup and organization to maintain a safe working environment throughout the project lifecycle. Experience Prior construction experience is required; familiarity with residential carpentry and restoration industry practices is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, construction estimating, and interpreting technical drawings. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and metal stud framing equipment. Knowledge of various construction materials including wood, siding materials, water-resistant products, and finishing supplies. Experience with fixture installation such as doors, cabinets, moldings, flooring systems, roofing components or siding is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively on construction sites with diverse teams. Certification or training in power tool safety is a plus; familiarity with water damage restoration or mold remediation is beneficial but not required.
