Foreman Carpenter/ Lead Carpenter
Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Foreman Carpenter/Lead Carpenter to oversee residential and commercial carpentry projects from start to finish. This role is vital in ensuring that construction projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a leader on the job site, you will coordinate teams, interpret technical drawings, and manage all aspects of carpentry work with precision and professionalism. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional results for our clients while fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise carpentry crews, ensuring work is completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately to guide project execution Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, trim work, siding, door hanging, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, and masonry Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and heavy equipment safely and effectively Manage material procurement and ensure proper handling of wood construction materials, rebar installation, stucco application, and other building components Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to safety protocols Conduct quality inspections throughout the project lifecycle to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and safety compliance Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, residential carpentry, and remodeling projects Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices including power tool safety and heavy lifting techniques Skilled in framing carpentry, metal stud framing, drywall installation, caulking, plastering, siding application, fixture installation, and restoration work Familiarity with construction plans, technical drawings interpretation, CNC fabrication processes, mold remediation techniques, and water damage restoration methods Ability to operate woodworking tools such as saws and CNC machines as well as masonry equipment for concrete forming or rebar installation Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces; capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions Join our team as a Lead Carpenter where your expertise will drive successful project completion while advancing your career in the thriving construction industry.
