Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and construction practices. This role requires hands-on experience in the restoration industry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics, operate power and hand tools, and perform a variety of construction tasks. The Carpenter/Laborer will contribute to projects involving framing, trim work, fixture installation, and more. Duties Perform trim carpentry and frame carpentry tasks with precision. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute projects accurately. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks. Engage in concrete forming, plastering, and masonry work as needed. Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation activities. Assist with cabinet installation, door hanging, and siding work. Participate in roofing projects and heavy lifting as required. Carry out flooring installation, tile laying, and construction painting duties. Collaborate with team members on-site to ensure project completion within deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in carpentry or related fields such as construction or manufacturing. Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus. Strong skills in woodworking, fixture installation, caulking, stucco application, and rebar installation. Experience with metal stud framing, CNC operation, assembly tasks, plumbing, and electrical work is advantageous. Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day. Previous experience on construction sites is essential; restoration industry experience is highly valued. A positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
