This role is essential in ensuring that various construction and restoration projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in carpentry, construction, and restoration, with hands-on experience in trades. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on-site. Responsibilities Perform construction estimating to assess project costs and materials needed. Execute trim and frame carpentry tasks with precision. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. Read blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate project execution. Conduct roofing, siding, and rot repair work as part of restoration efforts. Carry out woodworking tasks including cabinet installation and door hanging. Keep the job-site clean and organized Participate in mold remediation and water damage restoration projects. Handle heavy lifting as necessary during various phases of construction. Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed on-site. Qualifications Proven experience in construction or the restoration industry is preferred. Strong skills in carpentry, including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and cabinet installation. Familiarity with construction site practices and safety measures. Knowledge of rebar installation techniques and roofing practices is advantageous. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools,, and assembly techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality workmanship. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing. A strong understanding of remodeling processes including demolition, framing, and finish trim work is preferred .
