1st Shift 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Candidates must be available to work the full scheduled shift. Specific workdays will be confirmed during the hiring process. A Confidential Company in High Point, NC is seeking 2 experienced Carpenters for first shift Contract to Hire opportunities. This is a hands on construction and building renovation position requiring previous experience working with wood or metal materials, reading blueprints and layouts, taking accurate measurements, and safely operating power tools. Carpenters will assist with the installation and renovation of building structures, including doors, walls, trim, and other components. Candidates may also perform concrete related work, material handling, and other construction duties depending on project needs. This is a fast paced production and construction environment where safety, accuracy, productivity, and teamwork are extremely important.

Responsibilities include:

Read and interpret blueprints, construction layouts, and measurements Accurately use a tape measure Work with wood and metal materials Install doors, walls, trim, and other building components Renovate and modify existing building structures Use circular saws, drills, reciprocating saws, and other power tools Dig footers and assist with pouring concrete Measure, cut, position, and assemble materials according to specifications Handle and move construction materials throughout the work area Maintain an organized and safe work area Follow all company safety procedures and policies Work efficiently while maintaining quality standards Work effectively as part of a fast paced construction and production team

Requirements:

Previous carpentry, construction, building renovation, or closely related hands on experience required Must have experience reading blueprints, layouts, or construction drawings Must be comfortable accurately reading and using a tape measure Experience using circular saws, drills, reciprocating saws, and similar power tools Ability to work with wood and metal building materials Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to step over and work around fixtures approximately 28 inches off the floor Ability to perform physical construction work throughout the shift Strong understanding of workplace and power tool safety Ability to maintain productivity in a fast paced environment Reliable attendance and punctuality required Must be available for the full 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift This is NOT a training opportunity. Only candidates with relevant carpentry, construction, renovation, or closely related hands on experience will be considered.
