Job Description
Wallin Builders is currently seeking a Carpenter Helper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our skilled carpenters through job site preparation, material handling, and basic construction tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Preparation & Cleanup:
Clearing work areas, setting up/dismantling scaffolding, and protecting surfaces with drop cloths.Material & Tool Handling:
Loading and organizing materials, distributing tools, and maintaining equipment.Assisting Carpenters:
Measuring, marking, and cutting materials; holding components during installation; and assisting with drilling and hardware.
Safety & Labor Support:
Adhering to safety protocols, assisting with framing or concrete forms, and performing manual labor as directed.Qualifications:
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in strenuous conditions.
- Basic proficiency with tape measures and standard hand tools.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
