Full-time MJ Construction is looking for a dependable, hardworking Carpenter's Helper / Construction Laborer to join our growing team. This role is a great fit for someone who wants steady work, enjoys working with their hands, and is interested in learning the construction trade. Prior carpentry or construction experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person who shows up, works hard, listens, and takes pride in doing a job well. What you'll do: Assist with residential renovations, repairs, maintenance, and carpentry projects Help load, unload, move, and organize materials and tools Support the team with jobsite setup, cleanup, and daily labor needs Learn basic carpentry and construction skills alongside an experienced team Help keep worksites clean, safe, and organized Complete assigned tasks with care and a willingness to learn What we're looking for: Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Dependable attendance and the ability to arrive on time Strong work ethic and a positive, respectful attitude Willingness to work outdoors and perform physical labor Ability to safely lift and carry materials as needed Construction, remodeling, maintenance, or carpentry experience is a plus, but not required Someone looking for a long-term opportunity to grow in the trade Pay starts at $18-$20 per hour based on experience.
