Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter / Remodeler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of residential carpentry and remodeling projects, transforming spaces with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will help clients realize their vision through high-quality construction, renovation, and restoration work. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, to ensure accurate project execution. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Perform framing, drywall installation, plastering, rebar installation, and siding work on residential structures. Install fixtures such as cabinets, moldings, trim carpentry elements, doors, windows, and other custom woodwork. Operate woodworking machines safely to shape and finish wood components with precision. Conduct heavy lifting and material handling to transport construction materials like wood construction materials and metal studs on-site. Ensure adherence to safety protocols including power tool safety practices while working with power tools for woodworking and other equipment. Assist in restoration projects by applying skills in mold remediation, caulking, reinstallation of siding, or fixture replacement as needed. Support remodeling efforts by interpreting construction plans accurately and executing tasks efficiently on the job site. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized work environment while meeting project deadlines. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, framing carpentry, or remodeling projects. Strong knowledge of residential carpentry techniques Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills, saws for woodworking; woodworking machines; and other construction equipment. Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately to ensure precise project outcomes. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety practices related to power tools and heavy lifting. Familiarity with the use of woodworking materials like lumber, plywood, MDF; siding materials; drywall; caulking compounds; rebar; plaster; and other finishing materials. Knowledge of the restoration industry standards including mold remediation techniques is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a strong work ethic; ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
