Job Description

Finish Carpenter - High‑End Residential $23-$35/hr (Depending on Experience) A high‑end residential builder is looking for a skilled Finish Carpenter to work on custom homes from the ground up. This is a hands‑on role focused on precision, craftsmanship, and high‑quality finishes. If you take pride in detailed work and enjoy seeing a home come together in its final stages, this is a great opportunity. What You'll Be Doing Perform finish carpentry on high‑end custom homes Install doors, windows, trim, baseboard, crown molding, and casing Install cabinetry, built‑ins, shelving, and stair components Complete detailed interior and exterior trim work Assist with flooring installation as needed Perform light rough carpentry and punch‑list work Read and follow blueprints and construction drawings Measure, cut, and assemble materials using hand and power tools Assist with carpentry related to drywall, roofing details, and exterior features (fascia, pergolas, etc.) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite What We're Looking For 3+ years of residential carpentry experience, with a strong focus on finish work Solid understanding of trim details and finish techniques Ability to read and interpret blueprints Proficient with saws, nail guns, measuring tools, and other hand/power tools Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused Able to work independently and as part of a crew Bonus Skills Cabinet or built‑in installation experience Painting, restoration, or specialty trim experience Exterior finish carpentry experience Why This Job $23-$35/hr depending on experience Work on high‑end custom homes Steady, long‑term work with a quality builder Focus on craftsmanship and detail Positions are filling fast — apply today and expect a call or text from Chris Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
