Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Framing Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing the structural framework that forms the foundation of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise in framing techniques, blueprint interpretation, and use of hand and power tools will ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Framing crew needed for new detached garage construction in Errol, NH.

Scope of work:

Complete stick framing for a 28' x 24' two-story detached garage (672 sq ft footprint), including wall framing, floor framing, and roof framing Foundation is already poured and in place, includes stepped elevations (not flat) Floor joists: 2x12, 19' clear span Floor decking: 3/4" OSB (Advantech) Roof decking: 3/4" plywood Roof framing for a multi-pitch roof: 12:12 main slope, 2:12 ridge cap, 6.5:12 secondary slope, plus a 12:12 awning roof section over the entry — no dormer, no valleys LVL beam installation required at a front alcove wall section (currently open, corner post only) 8x8 corner post install One interior stair flight — rough framing, subfloor treads, structural support Framing for 3 standard windows (1st floor) and 2 custom windows (2nd floor, one per gable) Framing and install for one exterior entry door (~3068) Framing for one 12' x 8' garage door opening (door not included — framing only) House wrap install (TyPar) Join us as a Framing Carpenter if you're passionate about building solid structures from the ground up!
