Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Framer and be at the forefront of building durable, high-quality structures. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling the framework that forms the backbone of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure that all framing components are installed accurately and efficiently, setting the stage for successful project completion. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing projects. Erect metal buildings and install metal stud framing with precision and adherence to specifications. Construct concrete forms for foundations, walls, and other structural elements using appropriate formwork techniques. Install rebar reinforcement in concrete structures to ensure strength and durability. Perform drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, siding, and roofing tasks as needed on various projects. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to cut, shape, and assemble framing components efficiently. Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other hand tools; apply basic math skills for precise cuts and placements. Execute trim carpentry, woodworking, masonry work, and restoration tasks to enhance structural integrity and aesthetics. Interpret construction plans and schematics to coordinate with team members on complex projects involving metal building erection or remodeling. Assist in heavy lifting activities while following safety protocols to prevent injuries on site. Support construction management by maintaining safety standards, documenting progress, and ensuring quality control throughout each phase. Skills Extensive experience in construction site environments with a focus on framing techniques. Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawing comprehension. Skilled in metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, drywall finishing, siding installation, and roofing. Strong knowledge of hand tools such as saws, hammers, levels; power tools including drills and nail guns; heavy equipment operation skills preferred. Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately for framing components using tape measures and other measuring devices. Competence in carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, woodworking, masonry work, plastering, stucco application, and siding installation. Familiarity with construction management principles to coordinate tasks efficiently on busy sites. Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations during framing activities. Experience interpreting technical drawings or schematics related to metal stud framing or restoration projects. Strong safety awareness with the ability to follow protocols during heavy lifting or when operating machinery.
