Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of carpentry and general labor tasks, contributing to residential projects. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help ensure that each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across multiple facets of construction while working in a collaborative environment that values safety, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement. Duties Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project tasks. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Perform framing, trim carpentry, siding installation, and flooring setup. Operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently to fabricate custom components. Assist with concrete forming, masonry work, plastering, rebar installation, roofing, and water damage restoration projects. Handle heavy lifting and perform demolition or restoration work as needed on construction sites. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols such as power tool safety and proper handling of construction materials. Requirements Proven construction experience with a solid understanding of residential carpentry and general building practices. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans with confidence. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines. Familiarity with various construction materials including wood construction materials, siding, stucco, drywall (plastering), flooring materials, tile laying, and fixture installation. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights (roofing), or in confined spaces; ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Commitment to safety practices including power tool safety protocols and proper handling of hazardous materials like caulking or mold remediation substances. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow directions precisely while contributing proactively on-site.
