Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter and rough carpentry to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise finishing work on residential, transforming raw structures into polished, functional spaces. Your expertise in carpentry, woodworking, and installation will ensure high-quality craftsmanship that meets project specifications and client expectations. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim, molding, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other finish carpentry components with precision. Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of design details. Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking and finishing tasks safely and efficiently. Install flooring, drywall, stucco, siding, fixtures, and other building materials according to specifications. Perform restoration work including water damage repair, mold remediation, plastering, and rebar installation as needed. Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate schedules and ensure seamless project completion. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to power tool safety protocols and construction site safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience in residential carpentry, trim carpentry, or related construction fields with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in reading blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings. Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers; power tools including drills, sanders, nail guns; woodworking machines; metal stud framing tools; tile cutters; and more. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret technical specifications accurately. Experience with various construction tasks such as framing, drywall installation, flooring laying, tile setting, siding application, fixture hanging, door hanging, and remodeling projects. Familiarity with safety procedures related to power tools and heavy lifting activities on construction sites. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail throughout all phases of finish carpentry work. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to project changes or unforeseen challenges.
