In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will contribute to a variety of projects, from residential remodels to large-scale commercial builds, ensuring quality work that meets safety standards and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilize a wide range of tools and techniques, and bring building visions to life through expert carpentry skills. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, metal, drywall, stucco, siding, framing components, and other building materials using hand tools and power tools. Construct forms for concrete pouring and assist with concrete finishing tasks to ensure smooth surfaces. Collaborate with construction management teams to interpret plans, schematics, and technical drawings for efficient project execution. Conduct restoration work on existing structures, including siding replacement and remodeling projects. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards throughout each phase of construction. Requirements Proven experience in carpentry with a strong background in construction site environments. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; ability to interpret construction plans accurately. Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., saws, hammers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), tape measures, and other relevant equipment. Knowledge of metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, drywall installation, roofing, siding, and framing techniques. Ability to perform dimensional measurements precisely and execute trim carpentry tasks efficiently. Experience operating heavy equipment safely when required for specific projects. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to construction tasks. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed. Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites; commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Valid construction site experience with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics confidently.
