The Carpenter works on residential, multi-family and commercial projects, performing a variety of tasks including framing, installation of structural and finish components, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred. Minimum of 5 years of professional carpentry experience in residential and commercial construction. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment. Strong understanding of building plans, blueprints, and technical drawings. Knowledge of building codes, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to jobsites, as needed. OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods. Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry materials up to 75 pounds. Good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity. Tolerance for noise, dust, and face-paced construction environments.
