Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Remodeling Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming residential spaces through precise carpentry, renovation, and restoration work. Your expertise will help bring clients' visions to life, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse remodeling projects, from framing and drywall installation to trim work and fixture mounting, all while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute remodeling projects accurately. Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing, drywall, flooring, tile, siding, and other wood construction materials with precision. Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, metal stud framing, rebar installation, and fixture installation safely and effectively. Perform demolition, restoration, mold remediation, water damage restoration, and other renovation tasks as needed. Install doors, windows, cabinetry, trim, stucco finishes, siding panels, and other fixtures to enhance residential spaces. Ensure adherence to safety protocols including power tool safety standards while handling heavy lifting and working at heights. Collaborate with project managers to interpret construction plans and ensure timely completion of remodeling projects within scope. Skills Extensive experience in residential carpentry including framing, drywall installation, flooring laying, tile setting, and siding application. Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for accurate project execution. Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels along with power tools for woodworking and construction tasks. Knowledge of construction estimating processes to assist in project planning and resource management. Familiarity with woodworking machines for fabrication of custom components. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining quality standards during installation or restoration work. Strong understanding of construction site safety practices including power tool safety protocols.
