• South Jersey Framing Carpenter
• Additions & Decks (Project-Based) Allman Remodeling Contractors is looking for an experienced Framing Carpenter for upcoming residential addition and deck projects throughout South Jersey.

This is currently a project-based position , with the potential for additional projects and ongoing work as our framing and remodeling workload grows. We are looking for someone who is already comfortable with residential framing and can work productively with limited supervision. You should be able to read measurements and plans, lay out framing, identify problems in the field, and complete your work accurately and efficiently.

Typical work will include:

Residential additions Deck and porch framing Floor and wall framing Roof and ceiling framing Beams, headers, posts, and structural framing Sheathing Door and window rough openings Deck beams, joists, ledgers, stairs, and blocking Demolition and structural modifications associated with additions and remodeling We are not looking for an entry-level carpenter or helper for this position. You should have hands-on residential framing experience and be able to perform framing work without needing step-by-step instruction. You do not need to be a full remodeling carpenter who does every trade. Strong framing ability is the priority. Because this is currently project-based, hours may vary depending on the project and construction schedule. This could develop into more consistent work for the right person as our addition and deck workload increases.

Requirements:

Proven residential framing experience Reliable transportation Basic hand tools appropriate for the trade Ability to work safely and efficiently on residential jobsites Ability to work independently and as part of a small crew Dependable attendance and communication

Compensation:

Based on experience and ability. If you have experience framing residential additions, decks, porches, or similar projects, we'd like to hear from you. Please include a brief description of your framing experience and the types of projects you have worked on. Most of our work is local to South Jersey, so you're home every night.
