Job Description

Carpenter / Construction Laborer
  • Custom Residential Construction We are a custom residential home builder specializing in high-quality new home construction, remodels, renovations, and additions.
We are looking to add one or more dependable, experienced team members to our crew. We are open to hiring an experienced Carpenter, Construction Laborer, or someone with a well-rounded residential construction background . The ideal candidate is hardworking, reliable, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable handling a variety of tasks throughout all stages of residential construction. Spanish-speaking or bilingual candidates are preferred. Responsibilities Perform general carpentry and residential construction work on custom homes and remodels Assist with framing, demolition, blocking, siding, trim, doors, hardware, and other finish or rough carpentry Perform general construction labor, including material handling, jobsite setup, cleanup, and organization Safely operate common hand and power tools Assist subcontractors and other crew members as needed Read measurements accurately and follow plans, layouts, and instructions Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Work independently when appropriate and as part of a team Help solve day-to-day jobsite issues and keep projects moving efficiently Qualifications Previous residential construction experience is required or strongly preferred depending on the position. We are looking for someone who is well-rounded and understands the pace and quality expectations of custom residential construction and remodeling. Candidates should be dependable, punctual, able to follow directions, and willing to perform both skilled carpentry and general construction tasks as needed. Reliable transportation and the ability to safely perform physically demanding construction work are required. Spanish-speaking/bilingual preferred. Key Skills Residential Carpentry
  • Experience with framing, blocking, trim, doors, siding, cabinetry, and/or other rough and finish carpentry. Remodeling & Renovation Experience
  • Comfortable working in existing homes, including demolition, modifications, repairs, and tying new construction into existing conditions. Hand & Power Tool Proficiency
  • Able to safely and effectively use common construction tools and equipment. Construction Knowledge & Problem Solving
  • Well-rounded understanding of residential construction and ability to think through jobsite challenges. Measurement & Plan Reading
  • Able to accurately measure, lay out work, and understand basic construction plans and details. Reliability & Teamwork
  • Dependable, punctual, communicates well, follows direction, and works effectively with crew members and subcontractors. Jobsite Safety & Organization
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment and takes care of tools and materials.
