This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage framing crews, oversee carpentry operations, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality structures. You will be instrumental in coordinating project schedules, supervising teams, interpreting technical drawings, and maintaining safety standards on-site. Your expertise will drive efficiency, uphold construction quality, and foster a collaborative work environment that values safety, precision, and craftsmanship. Responsibilities Lead and manage framing crews and carpentry teams to execute residential and commercial projects efficiently and safely. Interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications. Coordinate construction schedules, monitor progress, and adjust workflows to meet project deadlines using construction management software such as ProCore or Primavera P6. Oversee site safety compliance by enforcing OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections. Review construction drawings for accuracy, identify potential issues early, and collaborate with project managers to resolve discrepancies. Manage crew assignments, supervise daily operations on-site, and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain detailed documentation including project logs, incident reports, safety records, and inspection reports using Bluebeam or other construction management tools. Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to coordinate deliveries, manage contracts, and ensure seamless communication across all project phases. Conduct site inspections regularly to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and uphold construction regulations. Assist in budgeting efforts by tracking labor hours, material usage, and project expenses to support cost control initiatives. Experience Proven experience in heavy residential or commercial framing projects with a strong background in carpentry supervision. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively within a fast-paced construction environment; supervisory experience is essential. Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawing review. Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 or Primavera for scheduling and project tracking. Strong understanding of OSHA standards alongside federal construction safety regulations; experience implementing safety programs on-site. Hands-on experience with construction site activities including framing techniques, quality assurance practices, and safety protocols. Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety compliance. Ability to interpret technical specifications like Ohmmeters for electrical schematics or other specialized tools relevant to the scope of work. Excellent communication skills for managing crews effectively while coordinating with project managers and clients.
