Concrete Finisher / Carpenter Taurus Construction is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher / Carpenter to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual with a strong background in concrete construction who can work efficiently as part of a crew while maintaining a high standard of quality. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of concrete finishing and/or concrete carpentry experience Experience forming, placing, finishing, and repairing concrete Ability to build and set forms for footings, slabs, walls, curbs, sidewalks, equipment pads, and other concrete structures Experience with hand and power tools commonly used in concrete construction Ability to screed, float, edge, trowel, broom, and finish concrete to required specifications Ability to read plans, elevations, and basic construction drawings Knowledge of proper formwork, layout, reinforcing steel, embeds, and concrete placement procedures Ability to work safely and efficiently around equipment and active construction operations Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work well with others Must be able to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Responsibilities The Concrete Finisher / Carpenter will be responsible for concrete-related work from initial layout and forming through final placement and finishing. Duties may include setting forms, checking grade and elevations, installing reinforcing materials, assisting with concrete placement, finishing concrete, stripping forms, performing cleanup, and completing miscellaneous concrete repairs. Candidates should be comfortable working independently when necessary and taking direction from foremen and supervisors. Attention to detail and the ability to produce quality finished work are essential.

Experience Concrete Finishing/Carpentry:

2 years minimum — Required Construction experience beyond concrete work is a plus.
