Skilled Remodel Carpenter Thomas Construction - Amsterdam, NY Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8 AM - 5 PM Thomas Construction is looking for a skilled carpenter/remodeler to join our growing crew. This is not an apprentice position. We need someone who can confidently handle residential remodeling work and produce clean, professional results without needing constant supervision. Most of our work consists of high-quality kitchen and bathroom remodels, along with finish carpentry and general residential renovation work. What you'll be doing: Kitchen and bathroom remodels Framing, sistering joists, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, trim, and finish work Problem solving in older homes Working independently while maintaining quality and efficiency Keeping a clean, organized, professional jobsite What we're looking for: Proven remodeling or finish carpentry experience Self-motivated and dependable Someone who takes pride in their work Professional attitude and appearance Reliable transportation and basic hand tools Ability to communicate well with homeowners and crew members What we offer: Competitive pay based on experience Deadline/profit sharing opportunities Steady year-round work Clear path for advancement and raises Regular schedule so you can have a life outside of work 2 weeks paid vacation after 6 months (accrual basis) QSEHRA health reimbursement benefit available We're building a strong crew of hardworking craftsmen who care about quality, professionalism, and doing things the right way.
