About the Role As an Experienced Shed Builder, you will construct durable, high-quality sheds and outdoor structures from the ground up. You will use your carpentry and construction experience to complete projects accurately, efficiently, and according to Kauffman Building's quality standards. You will also help maintain a safe and productive work environment while contributing to the development of less-experienced team members. This role is designed for someone who can take ownership of assigned work, identify problems before they affect the finished product, and consistently deliver quality results. What You Will Do Construct sheds and outdoor structures according to company plans and quality standards Measure, cut, assemble, and install structural components accurately Frame floors, walls, and roof systems Install siding, roofing, trim, doors, windows, and finishing components Read and interpret construction drawings, measurements, and specifications Safely operate power tools, pneumatic tools, forklifts, and other equipment Plan and organize assigned work to maintain quality and productivity Identify construction issues and develop practical solutions Inspect completed work and correct deficiencies before a structure leaves the job Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate clearly with team members, customers, and vendors Help train and support less-experienced builders when needed Contribute ideas that improve safety, quality, efficiency, and the customer experience Who We Are Looking For We are looking for an experienced builder who understands that craftsmanship, efficiency, dependability, and teamwork all matter.

The strongest candidates will bring:

At least one year of experience in shed building, carpentry, framing, or a related construction trade The ability to accurately use measuring tools and construction equipment Experience safely operating power and pneumatic tools The ability to read and follow construction drawings Knowledge of framing, roofing, siding, trim, and general construction methods Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail The ability to work productively with limited supervision Comfort working from heights A dependable, positive, and team-focused attitude A willingness to continue learning and improving Reliable transportation to the Bainbridge shop each day A valid driver's license preferred Compensation and Growth $25.00 to $35.00 per hour Starting pay is based on experience, demonstrated ability, craftsmanship, and productivity Production-based rate pay may be available for qualified builders Continued training and professional development Opportunities to take on greater responsibility as the company grows Advancement opportunities for builders who consistently demonstrate quality, leadership, dependability, and strong results Specific production rates and eligibility requirements will be provided to qualified candidates before any rate-pay compensation agreement is accepted.
