MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Teach and supervise high school students at varying academic levels, both in academic and performance skills to prepare them for either college or entry-level work in the carpentry industry. The applicant should have a background and good working knowledge of: Roof and Wall Framing Exterior and Interior Finishing Doors, window and trim installation Building Materials and Construction Methods Building Codes and Industry Standards Three (3) Professional References Required - These must be filled out in the section of your application where requested -all sections are required. NYS Certification in Vocational Subject Area Carpentry; OR Associates degree or higher in carpentry and two years of carpentry experience High School diploma or equivalent plus four years experience working in the carpentry industry
