Job Description
Summary Metal Stud Framer will play a key role in constructing interior framework using metal studs, partitions, and related components. Reporting to the lead carpenter or construction supervisor, this role focuses on precise measurements, layout, and installation to meet project specifications. You will read blueprints, cut and assemble framing, and ensure accurate alignment and secure fastenings. Strong carpentry fundamentals, blueprint proficiency, and safety awareness are essential to deliver high-quality, time-efficient partition framing and drywall preparation. Qualifications Proven construction site experience with framing and drywall work Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics; accurate dimensional measurements and tape measure use Skilled in metal stud framing, trim carpentry, and basic carpentry tasks Ability to perform heavy lifting and use standard hand tools safely Familiarity with concrete forming, masonry, or related materials is a plus Strong math skills and attention to detail; reliability and safety consciousness
