Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and general labor tasks on residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in construction, woodworking, and restoration while contributing to meaningful building projects. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and effectively to cut, shape, assemble, and install various wood and construction materials. Assist with framing, trim carpentry, siding, and flooring installation across residential projects. Perform heavy lifting and material handling . Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to all safety protocols related to power tool safety and general construction site procedures. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while upholding quality standards. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a strong background in carpentry or woodworking; residential carpentry preferred. Ability to read construction plans and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, metal stud framing tools, and woodworking machines. Knowledge of construction materials such as wood construction materials, siding materials, drywall components, fixtures, and flooring products. Experience with framing carpentry, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, metal stud framing, and fixture installation is highly desirable. Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus. Strong understanding of power tool safety practices and proper handling of heavy lifting tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions effectively. Ability to work safely on-site in various conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
