Job Description

Skilled Carpenter/Foreman Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Carpenter/Foreman to oversee daily job site operations and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule. The Lead Carpenter Residential Construction Foreman will supervise crews, coordinate materials, communicate with project managers, and maintain high-quality workmanship on all projects.
Skilled Carpenter/Foreman Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Schedule labor, equipment, and materials as needed for projects Monitor quality control and ensure workmanship meets company standards Communicate project updates, delays, and issues with management and clients Train and mentor crew members when needed Perform site inspections and maintain clean, organized job sites Troubleshoot construction issues and provide solutions in the field
Skilled Carpenter/Foreman Qualifications:
5 years minimum experience in residential construction and crew supervision required Strong knowledge of residential construction practices Ability to read blueprints and construction documents Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations Ability to operate construction tools and equipment safely Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work outdoors for extended periods Comfortable working in varying weather conditions
