Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures across various projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and industrial builds, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects. Measure, cut, assemble, and install a variety of building components using hand tools and power tools. Perform framing work including metal stud framing and wood framing for walls, ceilings, floors, and roofs. Erect metal buildings and assist with metal building erection processes. Install concrete forms, rebar reinforcement, and perform concrete finishing tasks to ensure structural integrity. Execute masonry tasks such as laying bricks, blocks, or stonework with precision. Complete drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, siding work, and trim carpentry for interior and exterior surfaces. Operate heavy equipment as needed for site preparation or material handling while maintaining safety protocols. Interpret construction plans and schematics to ensure accurate execution of project specifications. Assist with roofing installation and repairs as well as restoration or remodeling projects. Use tape measures proficiently for dimensional measurements; perform heavy lifting safely to handle materials. Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience in construction work with a focus on carpentry; familiarity with metal building erection is a plus. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, technical drawings, and interpreting construction plans. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and heavy equipment operation. Skilled in concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, masonry work, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, siding installation, roofing techniques, woodworking, trim carpentry, and framing carpentry. Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and material estimations. Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and efficient workflow management. Knowledge of schematics related to metal stud framing and other specialized construction plans is desirable. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces as required by the project scope. Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
