Job Description
Brotherton Construction is looking for a skilled and motivated Residential Carpenter to join our growing team. We specialize in high-quality residential renovations and custom construction projects and are looking for individuals who take pride in their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and professionalism on the job site. This position involves working on a wide range of residential construction projects including framing, finish carpentry, remodeling, exterior work, and general construction tasks. Responsibilities Perform residential carpentry work including framing, trim, siding, blocking, drywall, cabinetry, and finish work Read and interpret blueprints, scopes of work, and project plans Measure, cut, and install materials accurately Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Work alongside Project Managers, Lead Carpenters, and crew members to complete projects on schedule Assist with demolition, material handling, and general construction tasks as needed Identify quality concerns and communicate field issues proactively Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail Load, unload, and organize tools and materials Follow company safety procedures and job site expectations Qualifications Prior carpentry or residential construction experience preferred Knowledge of construction tools, materials, and methods Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to take direction and adapt to changing project needs Comfortable working in occupied homes and communicating professionally with clients Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor throughout the day Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred What We're Looking For We are looking for team members who care about the quality of their work, show up consistently, and are willing to continue learning and growing within the company.
