In this role, you will leverage your extensive expertise in various carpentry disciplines, construction techniques, and industry-specific skills to deliver top-quality projects. Your hands-on experience with blueprint reading, fabrication, and restoration processes will be essential in ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects ranging from remodeling and renovation to specialized restoration work, all while contributing to a collaborative and energetic work environment. Responsibilities Execute a wide range of carpentry tasks including trim, frame, metal stud framing, cabinet installation, door hanging, siding, and roofing with precision and attention to detail. Use hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively to complete construction and restoration projects. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution. Perform concrete forming, masonry work, plastering, tile laying, flooring installation, and drywall finishing as required. Install fixtures such as doors, cabinets, moldings, water damage restoration components, and other building elements in compliance with project specifications. Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or restoration projects. Assist with water damage remediation, mold remediation, caulking, stucco application, rebar installation, electrical work, plumbing, and other specialized trades as needed. Support the restoration industry by performing tasks related to structural repairs, siding replacement, metal framing repairs, and general handyman duties. Follow safety guidelines diligently while working with schematics or blueprints for complex projects involving electrical systems or HVAC components. Maintain a clean and organized work environment; document progress through reports; communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating and project planning is highly desirable. Extensive hands-on experience in carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, framing (wood and metal), roofing, siding installation, cabinetry, door hanging, drywall finishing, flooring installation (tile or wood), and plastering. Demonstrated ability to operate hand tools (saws, hammers), power tools (drills, saws), CNC machinery for fabrication tasks; familiarity with schematics is a plus. Prior involvement in construction site management or supervision is advantageous. Industry-specific restoration experience such as water damage repair or mold remediation is preferred. Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation for electrical or plumbing systems is essential. Experience working with heavy machinery or equipment used for concrete forming or masonry work enhances your candidacy. Strong understanding of safety standards related to construction painting, rebar installation, metal stud framing, fixture installation and general site safety protocols.
