Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks on residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in woodworking, framing, and restoration while contributing to diverse construction projects. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, siding, drywall installation, fixture mounting, and trim carpentry Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks necessary for construction site operations Install doors, cabinets, flooring, siding, and other building components with precision and care Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, plastering, water damage restoration, and drywall finishing Operate woodworking machines safely to cut and shape wood construction materials for framing and cabinetry Support restoration projects by performing tasks such as reinstallation of fixtures, caulking, stucco application, and water damage repairs Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols including power tool safety standards Collaborate with team members to interpret technical drawings and ensure project specifications are met efficiently Experience Proven experience in residential or commercial carpentry with a solid understanding of construction estimating and planning Hands-on experience with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels as well as power tools including drills, saws, sanders for woodworking and framing tasks Knowledge of wood construction materials including framing lumber, plywood, drywall sheets, siding materials and related products Familiarity with various construction techniques such as metal stud framing, drywall finishing, flooring installation, stucco application and fixture mounting Experience working on diverse construction sites with an emphasis on safety protocols related to power tools and heavy lifting Industry experience in restoration or remodeling projects is highly desirable Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards Join our team if you're eager to build your career in a fast-paced environment where craftsmanship meets innovation.
