Redmax Events is seeking a motivated and dependable Carpenter Assistant to support our fabrication team in building custom event displays, scenic environments, branded activations, and specialty installations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their carpentry skills while working alongside experienced fabricators in a fast-paced, creative shop. Responsibilities Assist carpenters with fabrication and assembly of custom scenic pieces Read and interpret shop drawings and production plans Assist with wood framing and construction Sand, prep, paint, and finish fabricated components Organize materials and maintain a clean work area Assist with loading and unloading projects Work collaboratively with fabrication, production, and installation teams Follow safety procedures and maintain quality standards Required Qualifications The ideal candidate should have: Ability to read and understand shop drawings Basic wood framing experience Sanding and painting experience Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Ability to use common hand and power tools safely Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Positive attitude and willingness to learn Reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications Experience in scenic fabrication, exhibits, or event production Familiarity with woodworking tools and equipment Why Join Redmax?
