Job Title:
Skilled Labor - Carpenter Job Description We are seeking a dedicated professional specializing in commercial projects, specifically in framing structures and installing drywall in fast food restaurants and other commercial buildings. This role requires the ability to read blueprints, measure and cut materials, build wall and ceiling frameworks, and hang, finish, and repair drywall to meet project specifications. The candidate must work efficiently in active job sites, follow safety standards, and ensure all work meets commercial construction codes and quality expectations. Responsibilities Specialize in framing structures and installing drywall for commercial projects. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate construction. Measure and cut materials to build wall and ceiling frameworks. Hang, finish, and repair drywall to meet project specifications. Work efficiently in active job sites while adhering to safety standards. Ensure all work meets commercial construction codes and quality expectations. Essential Skills Proficiency in framing, drywall hanging, and carpentry. Ability to perform finish carpentry, framing, finishing, and trim work. Experience in metal stud framing and drywall installation. Competence in measuring, layouts, and using hand and power tools. Capability to read and interpret blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with acoustical ceiling work. Proficiency in finish drywall and rough ins. Why Work Here? The position follows a 1st Shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime available throughout the week. All work is commercial, providing a consistent and structured environment. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Tonawanda, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
