Job Description
Experienced Carpenter / Production Lead Warsaw, NY | Full-Time | Year-Round Work Are You Always the Guy Pushing the Crew? We're looking for a different kind of carpenter. Not just someone who knows how to build. We're looking for the guy who naturally makes the entire crew move faster. The guy who's already thinking about the next step. The guy who grabs three things from the trailer because he knows he's going to need them instead of making three trips. The guy who finishes his work and looks for what's next instead of waiting to be told. The guy who gets frustrated watching four people do the work that three good people should be able to accomplish. If that's you, we'd like to talk. What We're Looking For Wolcott Construction Services builds agricultural, commercial and light-industrial projects throughout Western New York. We're looking for an experienced construction professional with two things: 1. You know how to build. 2. You know how to produce. Experience in post-frame, commercial framing, steel erection, metal roofing/siding, concrete, commercial roofing or similar construction is valuable. You don't need to know our exact building system. We can teach technical skills. We can't teach someone to care about production. How We Work Our normal workday is 7:15 AM-4:30 PM. We believe good construction comes from planning the work, having materials ready, eliminating wasted movement and maintaining a steady pace throughout the day. We inspect our work daily. Fast and wrong doesn't count.
