Paid Weekly TP Construction is currently hiring a Safety Carpenter / Handyman to support construction site safety and general maintenance work. Job Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair temporary safety protection, guardrails, barricades, and other required safety items. Perform basic carpentry, repairs, adjustments, and miscellaneous construction work. Conduct floor-by-floor site checks to identify minor safety or maintenance issues. Correct minor safety and site issues as directed by supervisors or site management. Maintain safe and organized work areas. Assist with installation, removal, and relocation of temporary safety materials as needed. Communicate with supervisors and other trades regarding safety concerns and required repairs. Follow all job site safety procedures and company requirements. Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to complete required employment eligibility verification. Valid OSHA 30 Construction Safety Card required. Must be available to work full-time, approximately 40 hours per week. Previous carpentry, handyman, construction, or site safety experience is strongly preferred. Must be comfortable using basic hand and power tools. Must be reliable, responsible, punctual, and safety conscious. Fluent English is required for this position. Must be able to clearly understand, communicate, and follow verbal and written safety instructions in English. Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, site management, and other workers. Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, standing, walking, bending, and working throughout multiple floors of a construction site.
