Job Description
About this role We are hiring experienced concrete carpenters in the Cincinnati, OH area to build, set and strip concrete forms for commercial and government projects. This is a per diem position with travel assignments; candidates must be able to work efficiently on site, follow layout and drawings, and maintain quality under tight schedules. Ideal candidates have solid formwork and general concrete experience, read construction drawings, and communicate in both English and Spanish. Relocation assistance is available for qualified workers willing to move to the Cincinnati area. What you'll do Build, assemble, set and strike concrete forms for walls, slabs and related structures Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and as-built documents Perform site layout, measuring, cutting and framing to ensure accurate form placement Collaborate with crew members and concrete crews during placement and finishing Inspect formwork for quality and safety, maintain tools and equipment on site What we're looking for Proven experience in concrete formwork carpentry and general concrete work Ability to read construction drawings, perform site layout and interpret as-built plans Skilled in measuring, cutting, framing and basic carpentry techniques Experience with commercial or civil construction projects and concrete placement Able to work full days on active job sites, follow directions, and work as part of a crew Comfortable working outside in varied weather and at heights when required Qualifications Fluent in English and Spanish (required) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a drug screen and background check OSHA 10 or equivalent site safety card preferred Minimum demonstrated experience in concrete formwork (references or work history preferred) What we offer Per diem paid for travel assignments Relocation assistance considered for qualified candidates Consistent travel/project assignments in the Cincinnati area Site-provided PPE and safety training Paid training opportunities and skill advancement Health insurance options and retirement plan available Ready to apply?
